∙ 13y agoGenerally, when the sun is out and it is not heavily clouded the Sun, as common knowledge, will spread light down on the world. When you put an object in front of the light, the object can block light from expanding further in that particular section depending on size of the object and angle it is hit at. Like your hand in front of a flashlight, making a shadow.
