so that you can be aware of them... for example, there's an earthquake coming your way, you would probably be able to notice there is gonna be an earthquake, if you study earthquakes. other than that, i dont know why we need to study earthquakes either..

If you know more about earthquakes and its behaviours the chances of survival from earthquake and Tsunami will be more. I have designed some instrument for early warning system for earthquakes in the year 2001.The usage were not accepted by our meteorological department. I have studied more about earthquakes and Tsunami from USA in the year 2002 and I have become super star in earth science. I have issued warning 2 hours before Tsunami struck our Indian coast to local T.V.Stations with the knowledge gained by me during my stay in USA. But my warning was ignored and our country alone lost the life of about 10,000.What to do. If most of the persons are having knowledge they should have believed my alert message.
