Well.... It's kinda dangerous, while you're pouring explosive chemicals together or dissecting a cow eye, to not be able to see. And I suggest that if you are going to cheat on your science homework, at least make it so it doesn't look like your homework. ;)

What is the difference between an experiment and an observation?

An experiment involves intentionally manipulating variables to observe the effect on a phenomenon, while an observation involves simply witnessing and recording a phenomenon without intervention. Experiments aim to establish cause-and-effect relationships, whereas observations focus on describing and documenting patterns or behaviors.

Why must The Crucible by Arthur Miller be cooled in a desiccator?

it must be cooled in the desiccator in order to take the correct measurement on the scale while performing the experiment.

What observation mean in the scientific method?

To take observations (for example, while doing a lab report) means to write down details about what is occurring throughout the process of the experiment.

What does an obeservation means?

To make an observation is to watch the subject in question, for example if you were watching a bird, you would make observations as to what kinds of noises it makes, where it lives, does it have any chicks, what does it eat....those are all different kinds of observations. While performing an experiment, observations may include smells, weighing the object, what happens when another thing is added to the solution or whatever.

How are hypothesis and experiment are related?

A hypothesis states a predicted outcome for an experiment, while an experiment is designed to test the validity of the hypothesis by collecting data and analyzing results. The experiment provides empirical evidence to either support or refute the hypothesis. The relationship between hypothesis and experiment is crucial in the scientific method for forming and testing ideas.

Can a reaction mechanism be determined without an experiment?

While theoretical approaches like computational chemistry can provide insights into reaction mechanisms, experimental validation is necessary to confirm the proposed mechanism. Experimentation allows for the observation of intermediates, rate laws, and other key details that are crucial for elucidating the complete reaction pathway. Theory and experiment are often combined to develop a comprehensive understanding of reaction mechanisms.

How did Mr Bunsen hurt his eye?

Mr. Bunsen hurt his eye while performing a chemical experiment in the lab. A chemical splashed into his eye when he was not wearing protective goggles, causing irritation and damage.
