Personally I soak halloumi to reduce the salt content, soaking the cheese for an hour or so in fresh water will draw some of the salt out of the cheese.

Alternatively, soaking halloumi can help to keep it fresh, where the air cannot circulate around it..

To fry halloumi cheese to perfection, start by slicing it into even pieces. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. Place the halloumi slices in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious crispy texture of the halloumi cheese.
