No they don't melt in a camp fire. Beer cans are typically aluminum which has a melting point around 1200 degrees fahrenheit. A typical campfire can reach temps around 900 degrees fahrenheit.

Aluminium can melt in a wood fire but more commonly the metal oxidises instead. Steel cans won't melt in such a fire, but they oxidise heavily.
About maybe 5 minutes tops, if the fire is really hot. You can melt cans instead of hauling them.
It may melt, but chances are it will leave a shriveled and slaggy mess for someone else to clean up. I have, however, seen really thin cans disappear in a specially hot fire.
It depends what it's made of. Normal ceramic is unlikely to melt but would probably crack. Steel might melt in an extremely hot fire. Plastics would melt.

Yes. Anything can melt IF you apply the necessary heat IN A VACUUM. The vacuum prevents combustion and therefore burning from fire.
No, if the button was made of 100% wood it would catch fire and burn.
unless the wood is hot/warm, it most likely not melt the ice.
Well they aren't poor, they did have fire to melt the metal they had and make it into a knife or sword. They also had wood to carve the handles to their weapons. That is how they created weapons in medieval times. The same goes for kitchen ware, they had metal, wood and fire to make and melt things.
You cannot melt wood, You cannot burn silver, within the above.
