Physical Geography is based on the land and it's landforms. It relates to how the Earth was formed and what it's formed of. It talks about the Earth's resources and natural systems of the planet (i.e, water cycle, carbon cycle, life cycle, etc.)

Cultural Geography, however, is about how the landforms and natural systems affect humans and their cultures. Landforms such as mountains can isolate a culture and can show how they can survive. A water source such as an ocean can bring many different cultures together for rading purposes.
