The Pros and Cons of living in the country
I think living in the country has both advantages and disadvantages. So lets look what we have.In the country prices for food and other natural products are lower than in city, and the quality is better. But electric goods costs higher because of high transport expenditure.
In the country you can find a cheap and pretty convenient accommodation. But can''t find a proper job with high income. In the city it is opposite. In the country there are less places of rest - bars, restraints, cafes, clubs or even parks that we have in city. But on the other hand in the country you can rest everywhere, even on your back yard, can make some party.
Public Transport problem in the country is quite sharp one. But we have no car exhausts and traffic jams as in city. If you need to get somewhere regularly - Just buy a car.
In psychological plan much more healthy to live in country, because people there are all neighbors and solve their problem in easy way.
So, my opinion is that the most comfortable variant is to work in the city and live in the suburbs.

Is the city a better place to live than the country?

It depends. If you like the sound effects of the city such as sirens, barking dogs, car horns and other lound noises, you could probably do in the city. The country is very quiet, peaceful, and there is barely anything to bother you. No.Actually it depends on you. If you're more into the lifelight or the feel of more things to do and a busier type of atmosphere with the hustle and bustle then you may enjoy it. Depends on the size of the city. Houston as example as much more smog and murders then lets say South Bend. Country is more of a relaxed atmosphere with fresh air, and livestock which may be nearby. Its a much slower paced with a lot less to do then the cities have. For me personally, I live in the city and dream of living in the country!
