Very large scale integration means including large number of electronic components like diodes, resistors, transistors, op-amps on a single semiconductor chip
Longitude refers to the invisible lines across the globe that mark off specific locations. In order to find a line of longitude, it is important to get a map or globe. Look for long lines that are spaced evenly across the globe.
Step farming is done on mountains because in places where there is only rugged, barren land the people had to find some way of farming, so they cut what some people call "steps" so they have a flat surface to farm on , they also us step farming because if you us a piece of land for a long time eventually the nutrients is gone in the soil with step farming you rotate between different steps :so you do the first one for a little while gather your finished crops when the seasons done move onto the second step when that seasons done move to the third by the time you are done with the third step the first step is all ready to go and so on.
A routing service in GIS software can provide both directions to a location and estimated travel time. By utilizing spatial data and algorithms, the routing service can calculate the optimal path between two points based on factors like distance, speed limits, and traffic conditions, giving users step-by-step directions along with an estimated time of arrival.
The quick step dance originated in England in the 19th century. It was popularized as a ballroom dance in the early 20th century and is characterized by its fast tempo and lively movement.

In a harmonic minor scale, the sixth of the scale is raised, so the step and a half is found between the fifth and sixth of the harmonic minor scale because normally, there is a whole step between the fifth and sixth of a minor scale. Raising the sixth adds another half step, so you get the step and a half.
All three types of the minor scale have a half step between scale degree 2 and scale degree 3. The Dorian mode also has a half step between those two scale degrees.
There are two groups of tetrachords in a major scale with a whole step in between.
The pH scale is logarithmic; the difference between two units is x10.

A minor scale is a musical scale that follows a specific pattern of steps. The steps in a natural minor scale are: whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step.
To turn a major scale to natural minor, lower the third, sixth, and seventh scale tones a half step. To create a natural minor scale from scratch, it is: whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step. A harmonic minor scale has a seventh raised by a half step above a natural minor scale. A melodic minor scale has a sixth and a seventh raised by a half step above a natural minor scale.
When you step on a scale, you are measuring your body weight.
A geostrophic wind scale is a graphical device printed in synoptic weather charts available on weather fax or on the internet, like the ones compiled by Bracknell and other weather services. It enables estimation of the geostrophic wind velocity by measuring the distance between the isobars (lines of constant pressure) in the weather chart and plotting this against the geographic latitude in the wind scale. step 1: determine the geographic latitude of the position you want to estimate the geostrophic wind speed for. step 2: measure the distance between the pressure lines (isobars) shown on either side of that position. step 3: choose the correct latitude line in the geostrophic wind scale or interpolate in the scale, using the result of step 1. step 4: plot the distance measured in step 2 on that line. step 5: read the estimated wind speed from the scale, using the curved lines. NOTE that the geostrophic wind is only a theoretical wind flowing parallel to the isobars in the chart. The true wind always is reduced by friction against the earth or sea surface and will be deflected towards the centre of the low pressure system which is circled by the isobars you used.
