I moved to the midwest for college and I have noticed a few thing... 1. They call soda pop 2. They say "your fine" a lot, like if you bump into them instead of saying it's okay they say your fine 3. They are less likely to tell you no, or that something bothers you instead they just don't text back which can be confusing when you are used to people being a lot more direct 4. They are more religious as a whole and more open about talking about religion 5. They are more conservative but not to the extent that people say and they are a lot less in your face about their political views! 6. They walk and talk a bit slower 7. They are really friendly! 8. It is not that hard to adjust, apart from a few different words/phrases and different stores and foods to some extent
