- I wouldn't really say that those are 'solutions'. Perhaps some solutions might be limiting the number of children that people may be allowed to have, as China did until recently. I believe, although I may be wrong, that China limited the Birth Rate to one child per couple for quite a while.

It depends on what you mean by 'solutions to overpopulation'. To what kind of problem are you referring to when you say solutions? Not enough housing? Congested streets? Pollution? Crime? Poverty? Each problem will have it's own solution in the light of overpopulation. Generally some sort of government regulation will be involved...
