What is sedentenland?

The Sudetenland was a region in Czechoslovakia with a large ethnic German population. It became a major point of tension in the lead-up to World War II, as Adolf Hitler used the Sudeten German issue as a pretext to annex the region in 1938. This event is known as the Munich Agreement.
