Cochin for sure. and one more thing Cochin is gonna be the best in India coz of Smart city and guess what,There is no state beautiful as kerala.Beautiful plus the state of the art tech makes Cochin the best in India ...................................... Coimbatore for very sure. But government of Tamilnadu is not focusing on the natural potential of this beautiful city. The only way cochin is developing and now trying to compete with this manchester city is just because of Dubai Shake's smartcity project and Kerala government's support. Coimbatore had developed by its own without the support of government or any arab shakes ;-). No doubt Coimbatore have more resource than cochin in all the ways like education, climate, water, population, per capita income, branding, medical etc etc. Except for the Tall buildings (due to earthquake III zone) and Tourism + Harbour Coimbatore lags behind Kochi. Coimbatore ranked 4th in the investment list in India, Cochin is not in the picture too but all most all the oppurtunity goes to Chennai, Bangalore and Cochin. Government brain washed MNC's and given lands and electricity near Chennai (Sriperumbudur) and betrayed Coimbatore. If that wouldnt happened allmost 80% of companies would have established their industry here. Coimbatore have ooty (80km far), kodaikanal(120km far), valparai(90km far), silentvalley(60km far) and munnar(150+km far) what else needed for a metro city like Coimbatore having India's Switzerlands surrounded. Just look at the caption at Wikipedia for Coimbatore it had given the status Metropolitan. Central government offered metro train funds for Coimbatore and Kochi. Kerala government wisely making use of that, but unfortunately TamilNadu government still didnt realized the potential of Coimbatore :-( I will call the Coimbatore as a Mother of Cities!. Hence because once before Palghat, Nilgris(ooty), Erode, Tirupur were all been a part of this City. Coimbatore have more historical background than Kochi, but now the ridiculous thing is Cochin is competing with Coimbatore. I claim this unfortunate event is because of Tamil Nadu goverment's carelessness. Thanks...for reading
