The Atacama desert, in Chile. Some regions of such desert haven't seen any rain in dozens of years.
The Dry Valleys of Antarctica is the driest place on Earth - 2nd would probably be the Sahara.

The United States and China are the two countries with the biggest influence on Latin America. The United States has historically been the dominant foreign power in the region, while China has been increasing its influence in recent years through trade, investments, and infrastructure projects.
In the 1800s, Latin America was largely under colonial rule, with European powers controlling the majority of the region. The map of Latin America in the 1800s would show territories divided among Spain, Portugal, and other colonial powers. Today, the map of Latin America reflects independent countries with their own governments and borders established through warfare and treaties following independence movements in the 19th century.
Latin America, refers to the countries of America that speakromance languages, languages derived from latin. So it includes all countries that speak Portuguese, Spanish and French. Actually even though technically French is a latin language those countries usually are not considered Latin American since they're so different in terms of languare, culture, history, races, economy, etc, that it makes no sence to group them with the rest. That's why the term Iberian American would be the ideal. There are 20countries in Latin America:BrazilUruguayArgentinaChileParaguayBoliviaPeruEcuadorColombiaVenezuelaPanamaCosta RicaNicaraguaHondurasEl SalvadorGuatemalaMexicoCubaDominican RepublicPuerto Rico (which is not an independent country)
The west region has the wettest and driest place in the united states.

I would imagine Almeria in Spain
Some argue that parts of Antarctica are just as dry or even drier. I would basically call it a tie for the distinction as driest place on earth.
The peninsulares would have opposed revolutions in Latin America.

Those people that were Spanish born would have been against the revolutions of Latin America.
The Atacama Desert is the driest place on earth and I have already been there. I have traveled the entire length of the desert from south to north by bus. It was an interesting trip but not the highlight of our vacation in South America. I am happy to have seen the Atacama but would probably not return.
No. Technically, that would be Antarctica. Australia is the driest inhabited continent.
Latin America includes Mexico, Central America, and South America. By population the answer would be Mexico, while by size the answer would be Argentina.
Latin America is a cultural region spanning Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. If you have to define a border, that would be the US-Mexico border.
