You say... = Come to Scotland and experience Scottish hospitality. =
Only in USA and Canada do they say 'mom'. The rest of the English speaking world, including Scotland, says 'mum'.
africans live in africa and Caniadians live in Canada EDIT: better way to say it is that Africa is closer to the quator and is much warmer there and more diseases are there. And in Canada it's further so it's much colder and not as many diseases and it's not as dry as Africa.
I would say North America. Both of these things are in Canada. But next time please use an atlas instead of wasting energy on a computer.
Most of the islands belong to Canada! But when other countries discovered they were full of natural resources... They say that north belongs to every country! But Canada won't let it's north go in the hands of Russians or Americans.
Yes, Jacques Cartier (A French Mariner and Explorer) discovered the St. Lawrence River. Much of French claims to Canada are based on Cartiers explorations. He discovered it while looking for the Northwest Passage to Asia.
claimed it for France
Jacques Cartier was known to be determined, bold, and ambitious. He was a skilled navigator and explorer who possessed a strong sense of curiosity and adventure. Cartier's leadership and tenacity helped him achieve significant discoveries in North America, contributing to the exploration of the New World.
Oh, dude, Jacques Cartier was a French explorer who sailed to North America in the 16th century. Some people might say he was good because he explored new lands and helped establish French colonies, but others might say he was bad because of his interactions with Indigenous peoples. It's like, history is complicated, man.
No, many people before him did but some people believed he did neither did Columbus no one really knows who did some people say diffrnet explorers.

Cartier's favourite colour is blue, because that's the colour of the sea.
I say you should go say at Jacques Cartier provincial park at site 12. It is awesome there. If you don't camp then go to Avonlea! Even if your not a mega Anne of Green Gables fan it is still fun.
In 1524, Giovanni da Verranzano explored the New World for France. He searched for a route to the Indies through the continent. Verranzano sailed up and down the East Coast of America looking for a passage that would take him further west. He could not find one so he returned, making no distinct claim for France. Some historians say French explorer Jacques Cartier accompanied Verranzano to the New World. In 1534 Cartier tried to find a sea passage to the East Indies through North America. He could not find a river that would take ships west from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. Instead he discovered the St. Lawrence River. The St. Lawrence River ended much sooner than Cartier expected. It ended on a high hill which Cartier named Mont Real or King's Mountain in honor of the King of France. Mont Real later became Montreal. Cartier named the area New France and claimed it in the name of the King of France. This discovery opened Canada for Europeans wanting to settle in North America. Cartier took colonists to Cape Rouge near Quebec. The colony was a failure. After this France lost interest in Canada. It would be more than 70 years before another Frenchman came to the mouth of the St. Lawrence River. Cartier never discovered the North West Passage, but his explorations allowed France to claim the Area, which is now Canada.
