A natural hazard is any event that can pose a threat to human life or to livestock, resulting in death, injury or sickness. A bushfire my be regarded as a natural harzard as if it ever speads it can affect neighboring buildings and structures as burning material can be blown around by the wind. A fire of this nature can also affect people in a close knit environment as smoke from the fire can be a respitory irritant or cause reactions in the case of asthsma.
