With GStarICAD, a polyline is a connected sequence of arcs and lines that is treated as a single entity. You can draw a polyline with any linetype and using a width that either remains constant or tapers over the length of any segment. When editing a polyline, you can modify the entire polyline or change individual segments.

After you specify the start point of a polyline, a prompt box provides several options as you draw, such as Distance, Halfwidth, and Width. You can specify different starting and ending widths to create a tapered polyline segment.

After you draw at least one polyline segment, you can use the Undo option to remove the previous segment. After you draw two or more polyline segments, you can use the Close option to complete the command by drawing a segment that ends at the start point of the first polyline segment you drew. Choose Done to complete the command without closing the polyline.

How do you Draw Arcs in GstarCAD?

An arc is a portion of a circle. The default method for drawing arcs is to specify three points-the start point, a second point, and the endpoint. You can draw an arc using several different methods.

What is the difference between a line and a polyline in AutoCAD?

In AutoCAD, a line is a basic geometric element that consists of two points and extends infinitely in both directions. A polyline, on the other hand, is a series of connected line segments or arcs that form a single continuous object. Polylines are versatile as they can have width, different line types, and can be easily edited as a single entity, whereas lines are individual entities with limited editing capabilities.

How do you construct angle 135 degrees?

Note that 135 = 90 + 45.So first construct a right angle, and then bisect the "back" half of it:Draw (horizontal) straight line XABConstruct the perpendicular bisector at A: With the point of your compasses on A draw arcs either side of it on line segments AX and AB.Open your compasses wider, with the point on where the arc in step 2.1 cuts (intersects) AB, draw an arc above the line XAB.With the compasses set the same, with the point on where the arc in step 2.1 cuts AX, draw an arc to cut the arc drawn in step 2.Mark the point where the arcs cut as Y.Draw in line AY.Bisect angle XAY: With the point of the compasses on A, draw arcs on lines AX and AYWith the point of the compasses on where the arc drawn in step 3.1 cuts AX, draw an arc between AX and AY.With the compasses set the same, with the point on where the arc in step 3.1 cuts AY, draw an arc to cut the arc drawn in step 2.Mark the point where the arcs cut C.Draw in line ACAngle CAB is 135oIn drawing the arcs to cut, if they don't cut you may have to either increase the distance between the point and "pencil" of your compasses and/or redraw the arcs longer.

How do you make Spline to Pline in GstarCAD?

With this tool the SPline created can be converted to a polyline according to the accuracy (number of segments of the arc) that the user assigns. More specified segment number is, higher matching degree between the Polyline converted. You can access from:Menu: Express tools>Draw>Spline to PlineCommand Entry: SPTPL

How do you make Line to Pline in GstarCAD?

This function can convert one or multi connected straight line(S), arc(S) as one polyline. You can access from:Menu: Express tools>Draw>Line to PolylineCommand Entry: Line2pl

Does gstarcad support dwg file format and can it be compatible with autocad?

GstarCAD's native file format is DWG, so when you open an existing Autodesk AutoCAD file (2.5 to 2010), there's no file conversion and no data loss. GstarCAD also provides a full compatibility with AutoCAD command line, menu (.mnu) and script (.scr) files, hatches, fonts, complex linetypes, multiline text, lightweight, polyline, draw commands, audit & recover as well as AutoLISP and ADS. That means you can get to work immediately by using the AutoCAD files, commands and applications you rely on.

What is the construcion tool for drawing arcs?

A compass is mainly used to draw perfect circles, but it can also be used to draw arcs of different sizes.

How do you draw a spherical triangle where the sum of the angles is 190 degrees?

You could draw two arcs from the North pole to the equator, with a 10 degree separation. The two arcs and the equator would form a 190 degree spherical triangle.
