When talking about the area of a roof, remember that it is not the same as the square footage of the structure. For example a 20 x 30' building with a 12" overhang and a 4/12 pitch will have 736 sq ft of roof vs only 600 sq ft of slab.
One square of shingles covers 100 square feet. 15 year shingles come 3 bundles to a square. 25 year come 4 bundles to a square. Add 3 squares ridge/starters to that. (3 tab)
4 bundles of shingles covers 100sq.ft. of course this is approx. shingles come in several sizes and then you must allow for waste cuts etc

Usually there is 3 bundles to the Sq . and a Sq. is 10'x10' or 100 Sq. Ft. You have to allow a bundle or three for the ridge and starter courses so your answer would be approxmently 72 .
A square of shingles is 100 sq. ft. The figures you list total 1,446 sq. ft. You would need at least 15 squares of shingles. You will need extra for the starter row and the ridge cap.
It is almost impossible to answer, depending on pitch, dormers, valleys. Get an estimate from homedepot, then you should be able to get a real good roofer that will do it for almost 1/2 the price they quoted you. I had a customer call them and was quoted 18,000.00 I did it for 10,000.00 with 30yr shingles wind rated, new felt,, ice/water barrier on all edges, top of the line ridge vent.

Not sure, but one bundle covers 33.33 square feet. 3 bundles to a square.
If the roof is 288 sq. ft. Then it will take 3 square of shingles, as each square covers 100 square feet. You will need the extra for waste. Usually a square of shingles is three bundles. However, that may vary by manufacturer.
Not all pallets of shingles have the same number of bundles. It depends on the size and weight of the shingles, as well as the manufacturer. Timbertex Ridge Cap shingles come 30 pieces to a bundle and 33 bundles on a pallet.
Shingles vary in dimensions, and sometimes there are specific bundles of shingles made for the sole purpose of ridge coverage. If you are using the house shingles for ridge, take the length of ridge to be covered, divided by the exposure of the shingle to determine the number of ridge pieces needed. Normally you will get three pieces out of one full shingle. Once you determine the number of full shingles, find out how many shingles are in a bundle and purchase the smallest bundle of shingles necessary to complete the job.
It says on the side of the box of shingles how many square foot it willl cover so figure that out and multiple tilll.you hit two hundred say each box did ten square foot you would nned twenty boxes,
30 bundles covers 1000sq, you have 960, but you need 4 more for all your end cuts and about 3 for ridge cap,if your using Architectural shingles you will need to buy ridge cap shingles, say 3 bundles. You will also want min 2 bundles extra to save in case of damage down the road. You should get 38 bundles keep 2 and return what you don't use.
Cut three tab shingles for your ridge cap. (20 year)
A square covers 100 sq. ft. so 7 squares plus 2 bundles for the starter course and the ridge cap.

depends on if you go with a 25 yr or a 30 yr shingle. For a 25 yr shingle you are looking at 44 bundles plus 10% for ridge cap comes to 49.5 bundles. For a 30 yr shingle you are lloking at about 51 bundles plus 10 % comes to 56 bundles there abouts.
Tough question because an 1800 sq' home has more than 1800 sq' of roof coverage, unless it has a flat roof. In which case, shingles would not be the material of choice. You need to measure the foor deck itself; either by measuring the gutter and rake (gable) edges to find square footage or, figure the pitch of your roof and calculate from there. You also have to factor in any other roof linrs such as hip roofs, shed or gable dormers, etc.. But if your roof was, in fact 1800 sq' you could figure the bundles by knowing that 3 bundles typically cover 100 sq' sooo...100/1800=18; 18x3=54
