I think both are same. There is difference between isometric view and isometric drawing that is of size.
A rectangular prism has 6 faces while a hexagonal prism has 8 faces.
the similartes between the drawing is the cow jumped over the moon and went home to his momma :) :) :D :D :P :P
An isometric is more specific

A cylinder has a circular cross section, a rectangular prism has a rectangular cross section.
A cube is a rectangular prism where all sides are of equal length.

A rectangular prism has 6 faces while a hexagonal prism has 8 faces.
Isometric muscle contractions happen when the muscle stays the same length, concentric contractions occur when the muscle shortens, and eccentric contractions occur when the muscle lengthens.
The rectangular prism has a rectangular cross-section; the triangular prism has a triangular cross-section. Any other difference would be related to this fact - for example, differences in the formulae for the surface area, for the volume, etc.
A 2 cylinder engine is faster then a 4. it produces more combustion.

a cylinder has round tops
Prisms have two parallel and congruent bases connected by rectangular lateral faces, while cylinders have two circular bases connected by a curved lateral surface. Prisms have flat sides and edges, while cylinders have a curved surface.
An isometric is more specific
Rectangular Prism - A 3-D shape with 2 rectangular bases, with a total of 6 faces. Rectangular Pyramid - A 3-D shape with only 1 base that's a rectangle, with a total of 5 faces.
