We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. God made the earth, and he created humans as well. Since he loved us, he gave us the free will to choose whether to or not to return his love. So, when Adam and Eve (the first 2 humans) were in the Garden of Eden (this stellar place God made for them), Satan (the Devil) tempted them into disobeying God. God was really sad, and he had to send them out of the Garden, and sin entered the world. Since then, all of us humans keep sinning and doing stupid stuff that disrespects God and others. But since God loved us so much, he sent is only son, Jesus, to be born of a virgin (Mary) and live on earth. Jesus lived on earth for 33 years, then was crucified (really horrible death the Romans gave you if they didn't like you - basically, they nail your hands/wrists and feet to this gigantic wooden cross and you hang there until you die of asphyxiation (suffocation). Really not fun - you get the idea). Anyway, Jesus LOVED US, even before we were born, before we sinned, and he died this death to show us that he was the more powerful than death, and to forgive us of our sins. The idea is that he died and went to hell (temporarily) so that we wouldn't have to. He took the blow for us, even though he never sinned. Anyway, after 3 days in a tomb, Jesus rose from the dead (Easter Sunday) and came back. After about 40 days, he ascended to heaven. As a Christian, I believe that he is with me always and loves me. I have begun a personal relationship with him, and believe The Bible to be his Word to me. It's a love letter really, and also a manual to life. You would be surprised at how much in there actually relates to us today (a LOT!). Oh yeah, and when we die, if we have accepted Christ into our hearts, we'll go have eternity in Heaven with him (as opposed to Hell).
Jesus loves you. What are you waiting for? Go meet him!
~He loved us so much that he would rather die than live without us~
A disagreement about beliefs, ideas, or interests is called a conflict. It can arise from differences in opinions, values, or perspectives between individuals or groups. Resolving conflicts often involves communication, compromise, and understanding.
My own beliefs are defined by atheism, and one of my values is respect for the beliefs of others, regardless of their religion. When ing Wiki s questions, I may disagree with the Christian majority on religion, but try to do so in such a way as never to cause intentional offence. Given that an English-language website has few adherents of the various non-Christian religions, I sometimes provide informative s to questions on those religions, while checking to ensure that others have not, inadvertently or otherwise, posted what may be considered inflammatory material on questions about other religions.
Peers of the same age can influence your behavior, attitudes, and decisions through social interactions, shared experiences, and peer pressure. They can provide support, friendship, and validation, shaping your beliefs and values. It's important to surround yourself with positive influences that align with your goals and values.
