Currently, no, its impossible to live for 1000 years. But, theres reason to be optimistic. In the coming years and decades, genetic engineering, biotechnology and Nanotechnology will be making radical breakthroughs.

Between 1900-2000, the world changed tremendously, more so than it has for the previous 10,000 years of human civilization history.

The Information Revolution, that began in the mid 1980s, isn't over. The world will experience more significant changes in the next 100 years (2000-2100) than it has in the previous 100 years (1900-2000) or 100,000 years for that matter.

in a perfect scenario, where someone does die not from clotting, hemorrhaging or cancer, the average maximum age for a human being is 82 years for females and 76 years for males. Maximum life expectancy is more or less decided by telomeres. Telomeres refer to the ends of the Chromosomes that contain no genetic code. When DNA replicates, it doesn't copy entirely, the very beginning and very end are left uncopied. This means that after every duplication (required for creating new cells), the telomeres shorten.

There is currently no scientific evidence to suggest that humans can live for more than 120-125 years. While there have been anecdotal claims of individuals living over 200 years, these have not been substantiated. The maximum known human lifespan remains around 122-123 years.
