I can't tell you an exact percentage but I was working at 17 saved up all the money I could while I had no bills to pay and I have what alot of older people don't I have my own trailer and live alone in a trailer park but that's ok I'm saving for land and I have a few pets also I pay all the basic bills water electric etc. and my lot rent oh and still go to school for my senior year and work so...hope this helps
