What do you see as the positives and negatives of growing older?

That is asking for an endless list! P:You know so much more than you did when you were younger. N:You know so much more than you did when you were younger, which means it is harder to experience the sense of wonder and discovery you once had. Not impossible, just not as effortless. P:You have refined skills because you have practiced them a long time. N: It is harder to learn new skills because you generally have less time to focus on practicing and/or you have developed physical limitations that make doing things harder. P: You're not dead. You stop growing older when you die! N: You're not dead...yet. And if you are old enough, sick enough, or bored enough, you may wish you were. What I'm saying here is that what is a positive for one person is a negative for another, and more to the point, what feels like a positive to you today, might feel negative next week. Conversely, of course, today's negative might be next month's glorious positive. It is all perception, and individual perceptions change!
