"Only the Good Die Young"was a song title in the 1970's and became a phrase. It could be that when you are young,you haven't had time to turn bad as such. But, bad people can die young just as good people can live to be very old. So the phrase is a myth I would assume.

After listening to the song, I take this less literal. I don't see it as the good actually DYING, but the fact that they don't have 'fun' makes them dead..Kind of because they aren't "living" by letting go and being rebellious.
