Yes you can! I live in Dallas, TX and receive food stamps because I am disabled. I have purchased cold fried or rosated chicken from Tom Thumb, Kroger, Albertsons, etc.
These grocery stores put special stickers on the food items and you can use your food stamps card. I may buy 1 cold chicken item per month, but not more than than because these food items can cost $5.00 or more.
And to anyone who does not think people whould have food stamps or that we should only eat crap food -- I say kiss my arce. I have the right to eat what everyone else does.
