In North Carolina, a window tint violation is considered an infraction rather than a misdemeanor or felony. This means that while you may receive a ticket and potentially face a fine, it typically does not go on your driving record. However, it's always best to check with local authorities or legal counsel for the most accurate and specific information regarding your situation.

NC leads 21-10!
I was recently in the Ca. DMV getting my license when they informed me that NC. has placed a hold on any newly issued licenses to me because of unpaid violations. Not haveing been in NC in the last 15 years I was puzzeled with this news as well as pissed. Turns out that a simple phone call to NC. DMV in Raleigh Early in the am. produced no known record. Then a quick call to a helpful chap in Sacramento yeilded me a clean record. All toll- 20 min. Bottom line NC and all govnmts. need money and are pulling out all the stops. luck
I'd suggest TRIANGLE TRAFFIC LAW GROUP. I'm from New York but got a ticket driving through NC and I went with them. They're very helpful and they have a good track record. They prevented my insurance from going up.
