The simple answer is no unless you're under 18. My son was born in the UK and currently holds Dual Citizenship. At 18 he has to choose to stay a US citizen and give up his UK citizenship; or give up his US citizenship and pay back-taxes for 18 years.
If we chose to do that we could send him back to the UK prior to his 18th birthday and pay the taxes. Doing so would give him free NHS and College and University (as the British call it) if his grades were good. Unfortunately for me the taxes would roughly equate to college here...although he'd have the NHS which is far superior to our "health plans".
Dual citizenship (or dual nationality) is allowed in the UK. Many countries don't accept dual citizenship, so you would have to make specific inquiries.

Yes, UK citizens can hold dual citizenship, which means they can be citizens of the United Kingdom and another country at the same time.
Dual citizenship or dual nationality is allowed in the UK. This means you can be a British citizen and also a citizen of another country. Not every country will grant dual citizenship.
Someone with dual citizenship should be able to enter and reside in each country in which citizenship is held without obtaining a visa. That is part of what citizenship is about - the right to enter and travel freely in your country of citizenship.
Yes absolutely! Your child will have dual citizenship: • American citizenship by birth in the United States ["lex soli" ] • British citizenship by descent being born to a British citizen ["lex sanguinis"]
He will become a dual citizen of the uK and the US.

No, not automatically. Husband must request a residence visa for his wife. When she immigrates to the UK, she can apply for UK citizenship after 3 years of residence in the UK. If she meets all the eligiblity criteria, citizenship will be granted.
