  • It is generally Child Aid along with perhaps a judge that may split up the siblings for good reason and therefore the foster parents are there to protect the child or children they have and to stop them from seeing their siblings until the age of 18 when they are no longer a minor. Sometimes Child Aid is not fair and just and siblings unfortunately are separated, but once they are at the age of 18 they are free to be together whenever they like. If it is just the foster parents who do not want the siblings to see each other then they well could be breaking the law and it is wiser to have a few visits where the siblings can spend time together.
