Well I just got an offer on a sprained rotater cuff. It was 5% which equaled $2474.74.The full amount would end up being about$50,000. Good luck on getting that though. Sonic Drive In is the company that is stiffing me. They also fired me a week after I was injured, but I was only injured because they made me wear roller skates and I fell.

I am NOT a lawyer. You should probably consult one to double check whatever I say. That said, as I understand the law, it will be difficult to answeryour question. You will be able to get some form of workman's comp for a while (it depends how long the injury takes to heal). If it does heal and there is no permanent damage, you won't be able to recieve further workman's comp. If, however, there is permanent damage then it'll depend on how bad the damage is and how much it effects you. A doctor will make a recommendation on how bad the damage is.

I'm afarid I cannot answer your question any more specifically. The settlements tend to vary quite a bit and any number I give you is not likely to apply (or even be very close) to what you could get.
