The Republic of Ireland does not have zip codes or post codes.
Dublin is split into postal districts though, so you will see a one or two digit number after the city name in address - such as "DUBLIN 1".
There is also an unofficial system called PONC which some people are using as an alternative to postcodes, especially with sat-nav, etc.
Belaadooan does not have a postal code as the only area with a postal code in the Republic of Ireland is Dublin City.
You may be referring to Rathmines, as there is no place called Kath mines in Dublin. Ireland does not have postal codes. Dublin does have postal districts, and Rathmines is in Dublin 6. So a typical address in Rathmines would finish: Rathmines Dublin 6 Ireland For internet forms looking for a postal code in Ireland, just use IE.
You would finish the address with: Dublin 15 Ireland
Ireland does not have postal codes. Presuming it is the Castle Farm in Shankill, then the address would be: 50 Castle Farm Shankill Dublin 18 Ireland.
Ireland does not have postal codes. The closest are the postal districts in Dublin. For internet forms use IE.
Ireland does not use postal codes. Dublin has postal districts. While Dublin is the only county in the Republic of Ireland to have postal districts (Dublin 1 to Dublin 24), there are a number of areas within County Dublin which are not included in the Dublin postal district system such as Lucan, Swords, Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock. So the last few lines of an address for Blackrock are simply: Blackrock Co. Dublin Ireland
Ireland does not have postal codes. Dublin however does have postal districts. Fleming Place is in an area called Ballsbidge which is in what is known as Dublin 4. If as an example you were writing to number 1 Fleming Place the address would be: 1 Fleming Place Ballsbridge Dublin 4 Ireland
Ireland does not have postal codes. Dublin is divided into postal districst, numbered from 1 to 24, and outside of those the rest of Dublin would be referred to as "County Dublin" for postal purposes. So it will depend on where exactly you are posting to as to which postal district you use. On an internet form, just use IE if asked for a postal code.
there are no postal codes for any part of the Irish Republic outside of Dublin
There are no postal codes in Ireland - the address is as above but just put the 4 after Dublin, not before it e.g. Dublin 4
Swords is outside the Dublin postal region and does not have a postcode. The correct address would be Swords, Co. Dublin. At present only the city of Dublin and some surrounding districts have postal codes which are numbered from 1-24 (with one additional one which is a small area known as Dublin 6W). They are often shown in the format D2, D5, D17, etc at the end of an address. The creation of a nationwide postal code system for the Republic of Ireland is currently under discussion.
See related links for a handy map of the Dublin post codes. Note: the reason for the numbers is that north of the River Liffey are odd numbers - 1,3,5,7 etc south of the River are even numbers- 2,4,6 etc.
