Not only Ireland like traditional music, I'm from Russia and I wiith all my friends like Irish traditional music too
The traditional music is very calm and peaceful, but they do listen to Celtic rock like the Cranberries that came from ireland.
Traditional and folk music are popularly played, but all sorts of music are played in Ireland. So things like pop, rock, jazz, country and many others would be played in Ireland.
I'm not from Ireland or anything. But i imagine it's just as important in Ireland as it is anywhere else.
I believe that Irish music can be traced back to Celtic music, if that helps.
Many Irish people would have moved to Australia and so there would be some Irish music heard in Ireland, but it would be different to Australian music.
