In the UK always except on motorways or where designated
In the state of Oregon and most other U.S. states, at all crosswalks whether marked or not. EVERY intersection has a crosswalk. The exceptions would be when a light gives the driver the right of way or where a "crosswalk closed" sign is posted.
always.
pedestrians have lower protection over motor vehicles therefor they must enter and leave an intersection faster, giving them the right of way over vehicles
Always
Basically, pedestrians always have the right-of-way when in a crosswalk.
Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, I still look both ways though :) In Oregon pedestrians only have the right of way at crosswalks or intersections. If they cross in the middle of the block they must legally yield to vehicles before crossing.
Yes, they are treated same as the Cyclists, and Pedestrians. However, when bringing the horses in the vicinity of a motor vehicle, you should always be very cautious
they have the right away when the light in front of you is red or if they are already i the crosswalk. for example if you go and there is no one in the crosswalk then you have the right away. if somone is in the crosswalk then the pedestrians have the right away.
Always!
Always.
Actually, I suppose that pedestrians are more vulnerable to danger and injury, than a driver in a protective car. And also, a driver in the car could injure a pedestrian, but the pedestrian can't injure you. However, at traffic lights you have you're own fair turn to cross the intersection and travel across.
At intersections, bicycles must follow the same rules as vehicles. They should yield to pedestrians and obey traffic signals. When turning, they should signal and yield to oncoming traffic. Bicycles in bike lanes have the right of way over vehicles crossing the lane.
In Florida, the right of way rules generally dictate that vehicles must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. When it comes to intersections, the vehicle on the through road has the right of way over vehicles on the road that ends. Additionally, drivers must yield to emergency vehicles with flashing lights. It's essential for all road users to be aware of and follow these rules to ensure safety and compliance.
