In past tense. Like, "I hadn't done it". It's called Past Perfect. Just don't confuse it with haven't or didn't. "I haven't done it" is like saying you have not done it yet, which is a wrong pose on the subject. "I didn't done it" is improper, but "I didn't do it" is. Just be sure that hadn't goes with past tense done, as to not complicate matters.
