Where to put and in sentences?

You put and in a sentence between the last two items of a list.

E.g: She bought scones, tea, and sugar for the picnic.

And expresses the general idea of addition: I saw two elephants and a lion at the zoo.

And can mean 'and then': She washed and wiped the dishes.

And can mean 'reason': It rained and we all got wet.

And can mean 'condition': You help me and I'll help you.

Or when connecting 2 sentences to make a compound sentence.
