There is no law that says birth certificates cannot be copied. The problem is that if official proof of birth is required, the copy will not have the state/county raised seal as certification of authenticity.
Putting a father's name on the birth certificate does not make him legally the father if you are not married to him. You can put his name on the birth certificate, but realize that it has no legal impact. In order to have paternity established, it has to be done with a court order.

You cant. What you have to do is get an affadavit of paternity, which has to be signed and notarized by both parents, but not at the same time. Both parents sign and have it notarized, then send it to your state office of vital statistics and the birth certificate will be amended.

well, sorry to tell you but, once you buy a bear and get the certificate you can't change it unless there was a mistake on how they printed it(Example: They did not spell your name or you bear's name right) -hope this helped
