Disadvantages about supermarkets

I like the convenience of shopping in supermarket and because there is a great variety of products to choose from. I don't like shopping in a supermarket because you really don't know where the products were produced or how. I don't like it because sometimes it's hard to determine how fresh things are. Supermarkets hurt small growers because they are unable to find a local market for their produce.
