Our class found there were 3750 grains of rice in 1/4 cup, and 75,000 grains of rice in a 2 lb bag. We divide $2 by 75,000 and found that one grain of white rice cost $.000027. Hard to believe anything could be that cheap! The accepted number is 29,000 per pound (16 oz)

The cost of a grain of rice can vary depending on the type and quality of the rice, as well as the region and market conditions. On average, a grain of rice may cost fractions of a cent to a few cents. However, when considering bulk purchases or wholesale prices, the cost per grain would be significantly lower.

Well, isn't that a lovely question. The cost of a grain of rice is very tiny, just like the grain itself. It may not seem like much on its own, but when you gather a bunch of grains together, they can create a beautiful and nourishing meal. Remember, even the smallest things can have great value when we appreciate them.

Oh, dude, a grain of rice costs like practically nothing, I mean, you can buy a whole bag for a few bucks. It's like the ultimate budget food, you can practically find them for free in the couch cushions. So, yeah, don't go investing your life savings in rice grains, unless you're planning on making a giant rice sculpture or something.
