yea you can i think just use your judgment . if it smells sour to you , i think you can drain it in a colander with running water and eat it once it drains . but once again , use your judgment . i would not eat anything that i think looks or smells bad.

NO!!! never!!! you may have bought it fresh but that doesnt mean that the meat is actually good to eat. If any meat smells, throw it out! Fresh meat purchased from the grocery should be either consumed within a day or two or be frozen to preserve its freshness. If it smells bad uncooked, it will smell equally as bad when cooked. Trash it.

Yes, they can; the only days meat is not allowed is Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent, but Spy Wednesday ( 2 days before Good Friday) is OK to eat meat
