At gas stations? Answer: A question that can be answered on several levels depending on the intended volumes and use. Using the wrong kind in the wrong situation can have severe impacts.
Ethyl alcohol is produced by chemical reaction (industrial grade) and fermentation ( from grain, grapes, potatoes, corn, sugar, starch, cellulose). It can be consumed as a food product or so loaded with fusel oils that it is fit only for fuel. The ultra pure variety is used in chemical reactions, just lab grade is denatured with benzene to prevent lab staff from drinking it. Potential sources with % strength indicated: * Small volumes for good quality recreational drinking (5% to 95%): Bars and liquor stores * Small volumes for variable quality recreational drinking (5% to 15%): Ferment your own * Small to large volumes of potentially toxic recreational alcohol (5% to 95%): Bootleg distilleries
* Large volumes to bottle for recreational consumption (95%): Major distillers * Medium volumes mixed with hydrocarbon fuel (10% to 80%): Gas stations
* Large volumes for fuel(+80%): Major refiners, distillers and chemical manufacturers * Ultra Pure Reagent Grade (95% to 100%): Chemical supply sales firms * Denatured (+98%): Chemical supply sales firms

You can buy alcohol for household use (alcool ménager or alcool à brûler) at any supermarket. It will be a mixture of 80% ethanol and 20% methanol. Alcool ménager is marginally less flammable, and often perfumed.US rubbing alcohol is 100% ethanol. If you want to use it medically, buy 'ethanol 90%' from a Pharmacie.

Some does and some doesn't. In most states, but not all, if the fuel contains any ethanol, it is will say so on the pump. Ask the place where you buy fuel if their gasoline contains any ethanol.
2400 W 14th street in Bentonville, AR.. GO THERE!! All grades are Ethanol FREE!! :)
Jacksonville, Florida is the location of this zip code. One can buy ethanol free gas at Sawyer Gas in University Boulevard Court. You can also buy it from the Shell Gas Station in Chaffee Road South. Most gas stations will sell it.
I have found a gas station in Lake Placid that still sells ethanol free gasoline. The number of stations that provide this service are dwindling fast. I have a 2004 Prius and when I fill up with ethanol free gas I get about 46-50 mpg. When I use E10 I get about 10% less, so I have to buy 10% more gasoline! Please post the location of any other stations that have ethanol free.
Dave's Palisades Service in Lake Oswego has it
Right now; simply look for E85 gasoline.
Yes, in many places you can buy Ethanol, a combination of gasoline and alcohol at the pump.
