i dont think 14 year olds are able to work yet usually maybe for community service in highschool

no actually in new york you get your permit in high school at 14 and theres a program with summeryouth is the name and from 14-24 you can apply for jobs but if you want to work in retail its usually 16 and i heard they pay good for a waitress at dave and busters where you need to be 18 because of late night shifts and you handle alcohol my cousin was 19 turning 20 working there

As a 14 year old old you can work in any retail store that will hire you. However if the retail store is goverment affiliated then it is ill eagle. Also if the store sells alcohol and prescription drugs. Along with stores that sell weapons of any kind. Also remember if you do work at a retail store at 14 you are underage to operate a cash registry which narrows down your role in the store to a few things.
