Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350F. Beat the eggs. Brush pie shell with beaten egg and pre-bake for 5 minutes. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes. Combine cheese and filling material and place in pie shell. Dust with salt, pepper and herbs. Combine half & half and eggs and pour over all. Leave a little room for expansion. Bake 30-40 minutes (golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean). Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving. It is a good idea to place your pie pans on a cookie sheet just in case this boils over. Re: measurements. Since you generally buy a dozen eggs, frozen pie shells come two to a pack, half and half is sold in Pints and it is easy to buy a big enough brick of cheese, I usually double this and make two quiches. They freeze well and make great leftovers and are a wonderful breakfast. Re: fillings ... anything you want. Suggest spinach, chopped brocoli, onion, green pepper, crab, shrimp, sausage, bacon, ham, turkey, etc.
Use the 'Try' verb which has 2 syntaxes: try (your code goes here) except (code that you want to run only when an error in the above code happens) end; or the other syntax is: try (your code goes here) finally (code that you want to run always whether there is an error or not goes here) end;

The try is used to define a block of code in which exceptions may occur. This block of code is called a guarded region (which really means "risky code goes here"). One or more catch clauses match a specific exception to a block of code that handles it. Here's how it looks in pseudocode: 1. try { 2. // This is the "guarded region" 3. // All your bank database access code goes here 4. // And any other code that might process that data 5. // We may have many code lines here 6. } 7. catch(DatabaseDownException) { 8. // Put code here that handles this exception. 9. // Put the graceful error message here 10. // This is the last line of the exception handler. 11. } 12. catch(SomeOtherException) { 13. // Put code here that handles this exception 14. } 15. 16. // Some other unguarded code continues from here
