What is nuclear energy
Nuclear energy is the energy in the nucleus, or core, of an
atom. Atoms are tiny units that make up all matter in the universe.
Energy is what holds the nucleus together. There is a huge amount
of power in an atom's dense nucleus. Nuclear energy is seen when
nuclear fusions or fissions happen.
How much work will it take to lift a 4-kg baby 1 meter into her crib
Which properties does a longitudinal wave lack
Longitudinal waves have all the same properties as transverse
waves: speed, frequency, wavelength, and amplitude
Is it bad if you have a heavy period on one month and a light one the next month
No it is not bad, as some ladies have a heavy period for one
month and then a light one or they may have two heavy periods and
then one light one also.
A soccer player sprinting down the field demonstrates which form of energy
What the the two main states of mechanical energy
Potential energy and Kinetic energy
A person running around a track demonstrates energy
How much work must be done on a 10-kg snowboard to increase its speed from 4 ms to 6 ms
In an isolated system, two cars, each with a mass of 1,000 kg, collide Car 1 is initially at rest, while Car 2 was moving at 10 m/s What is the magnitude of their combined momentum after the collisi
What is an example of conditions not producing work
the momentum must be greater than the force .
the force may be very large
In an isolated system Bicycle 1 and Bicycle 2 each with a mass of 10 kg collide Bicycle 1 was moving to the right at 5 ms while Bicycle 2 was moving to the left at 3 ms What is the magnitude o their
How much work must be done on a 5 kg snowboard to increase its speed from 2 ms to 4 ms
What are three waves that need a medium
Sound waves, ocean waves and seismic (earthquake) waves need a
medium
How were slaves affected by the new republic
Some northern states made slavery against the law.
How much work must be done on a 5kg snowborad to increase its speed from 2ms to 4ms
What is the focal length of a concave mirror that forms an image 25 cm from the mirror if the object distance is 20 cm
1/o + 1/i = 1/f
f = (o x i)/(o + i)
f = 11.1 cm (rounded)
How does the density of a liquid compare with the density of a solid
That depends on the liquid and the solid. Liquid mercury has a
very high density. Liquid gasoline has a very low density. At the
melting point the density of a liquid and a solid are almost the
same.
How much must be done for a 100-kg car to increase its speed from 1ms to 2ms
A diverging lens only produces a virtual image because the light rays never:
