Macbeth

PROSODY is defined as the examination and classification of the elements of poetry.

In Act 5 Scene 1 of the Shakespearean play, the Gentlewoman attendant was the witness to unsettling behavior by her Queen, Lady Macbeth [b. c. 1015]. The Gentlewoman called in a Doctor to be her witness to the odd, nightly doings of her royal mistress. So both the Gentlewoman and the Doctor saw Macbeth's Lady sleepwalk; rub her hands together in a way reminiscent of washing off stains or troubled spots; and lament the bloodied killings of King Duncan I [d. August 14, 1040], Macduff's wife, and Banquo.

Lady Macduff is upset at Macduff for leaving her and her kids behind,and she thinks that he is a traitor and that. he should be punished for his actions, but even though she is mad a macduff she is also happy that he put his ambitions above all matters. And Lady Macduff still loves him even though he left them behind, which shows that she still cares and the she is worried if anything happens to him.

I'm not familiar with an English-literature anthology called Searchlight. A quick perusal of Google using the search phrase "Anthology of English Literature" yielded several: Broadview and Luminarium being two of them.

In my English-literature education, the gold standard was the Norton Anthology.
