Restoration means to restore, repair, replace. For example: The restoration of the British monarchy took place in 1660, when Charles the second was restored to the British throne.

The reason he tells the murderers is not the same as the one he tells himself. To himself, he says that he is afraid that people will think that Banquo might make a better king than he is, and get rid of him to put Banquo on the throne. He talks about the witches' prophecy that Banquo's descendants will be kings but forgets all about the one which says that Banquo himself will never be king. So he is going to kill Fleance because of the witches' prophecy and kill Banquo in spite of it. The reason he gives the murderers is vague: that Banquo is his enemy. He does not explain why, but it is suggested that it involves the kind of wrongs the murderers are said to have suffered at Banquo's hands.

Macbeth believes he has to kill Duncan's guards in case they heard anything happen in the room while Macbeth was killing Duncan.
