1. The height of the plant determines the minimum distance between the blade and the ground
Safety regulations require that all HVLS FAN blades must be at least 3.05 meters (10 feet) above the ground. In actual operation:
Large plants over 8 meters high: most suitable for HVLS FANs with a diameter of 7.3 meters or more
The blade end must maintain a safety distance of at least 0.9 meters (3 feet) from any obstacles (including lamps, pipes, equipment)
2. The coverage area requirement determines the fan diameter
The coverage capabilities of HVLS FANs of different sizes vary greatly:
3m diameter: covers approximately 400600㎡
4.2m diameter: covers approximately 8001000㎡
7.3m diameter: single unit covers up to 2000㎡
16 feet (about 4.9 meters): maximum coverage is 7500 square feet (about 696㎡)
3. Space usage affects wind speed requirements
Assembly workshop/electronics workshop: requires gentle breeze (12m/s), choose models with patented silent tail design
Warehouse/logistics center: focus on air circulation and moisture prevention, medium wind speed (23m/s) is more suitable
Casting/heat treatment workshop: requires higher wind speed (3m/s or more) to dissipate high temperature and smoke
