Type O-negative blood does not have any antigens. It is called the "universal donor" type because it is compatible with any blood type. Type AB-positive blood is called the "universal recipient" type because a person who has it can receive blood of any type.
The blood type AB is a universal receiver meaning it can receive blood from blood types A, B, AB, and O.
AB blood has no antibodies to the antigens found on any type of blood, and therefore (as long as the rhesus factors allow) can receive any blood type, B included.
You can't tell, because any a father with any blood group can produce type A children with a type A mother.https://transfusion.com.au/blood_basics/blood_groups/inheritance_patterns
