You feel a HUGE tiny prick of pain when they put a needle in, but that's all, and you kind of dribble after it. Dont arrange to meet your friends the day you get one. The pain is a bit less sore than getting a jag or your ears pierced, and it only lasts a second. Its nothing to be worried about. Pinch your arm to distract yourself, or bring an iPod or mp3 player to stop you thinking about it. and OPEN WIDE. I get teased by my dentist for not opening wide enough lol :]

What happened when iron fillings and water mixed?

When iron fillings are mixed with water, the iron fillings will sink to the bottom of the container due to their higher density compared to water. Since iron is not soluble in water, the iron fillings will remain as solid particles at the bottom of the container. Over time, the iron fillings may rust when exposed to oxygen in the air and moisture in the water, forming iron oxide.
