absolutely!! i'm 28, been working in auto shops for 6 years and was diagnosed 4 months ago with type 1. pedialyte has been an absolute lifesaver!! i used to survive on gatorade, 2-3 liters a day. that's too much sugar for being insulin dependent. i switched to pedialyte and the Walmart brand (which tastes awful at first, definitely an acquired taste) but works just as well and without the excessive sugars found in sports drinks (25g carbs/liter in pedialyte vs about 65g carbs/liter in gatorade). i started diluting pedialyte with water to about 50/50 which seems to be just as effective to help against dehydration.
can diabetic take benadryl
well my pitbull is sore from the throat he can't bark and i guess those are the simptomes for dehydration and i really dont know what to do im worry sick that he is gona die so i think that you can give your dog pedialyte to make the throat fell better.***** yes, you can give your dog Pedialyte for dehydration. My vet had me give it to my Chocolate Lab when she was dehydrated. He also said Gatorade was okay.
give dog a chill pill then he will be calmed down and then you can take the shot
I do not know if your dog is a diabetic. You will have to take your dog to the vet and have the doctor look at the dog.
When my piggy was sick, the vet told me I could give her pedialyte. This helped her stay hydrated. Also you can give them Gatorade or Powerade. But Pedialyte is the best. Hope this helps.
Yes, Purina for example carries a diabetic dog food. It's called "Purina Veterinary Diets DCO" http://www.dogsupplies.com/pages/Diabetic-Dog-Food-And-What-To-Feed-A-Diabetic-Dog.html
Regular dog food can be very expensive sometimes, so I would imagine that diabetic dog food would cost a lot. You can actually make your own diabetic dog food. www.ehow.com/facts_5256711_dog-food-diabetes.html
its dog thats diabetic
There are about 100 calories in 1 litre of Pedialyte.
Yes, you can freeze Pedialyte to make popsicles.
It will die.
Fudge by and large is generally toxic to dogs. Insulin may be the least of your worries.
