yes they have a good sense of hearing because they lose their vision is lost but there hearing is not for example, when Ur in a war maybe somebody trows a bomb in front of you and you lose connection of your eye vision well your eye vision will never come up again but when it does that to your ear your sense of ear will get fixed and that why blind people have a amazing sense of hearing also we don't have the same pieces when they are blind thank you for reading add me on woozworld.com my wozzen name is cutie-pie-ywo bye :)

most people can hear and speak when they're blind, they might not know if they're being talked to for they cant see the person. but most can still speak and hear.

A normal, capable person can hear through their ears. The vibrations travel into the brain where they are decoded by one's knowledge of words and context.
An aid can help a person hear better, but it won't return hearing to normal levels. Hearing aids boost all sounds, not just those the person wishes to hear. Especially when the source of sound is far away
they can still hear you, so speaking works. as far as reading goes, if the blind person has learned brail then you can communicate that way too.
