I would say u r pregnant. I took 3 hpt's & went to my doc. within that hour & their test were neg. I am 6 months pregnant now. You can get false neg. for a lot of reasons. Mine was because I wasn't even late for my period yet & I sat in the doctors office drinking 2 cups of water which deluted my urine so the hormone wasn't detected. Later I took 11 more hpt's & all faint pos. All were first response.
No.
A urine pregnancy test tests for the "preg hormone" in the urine, which is at a higher level when a woman is pregnant. However, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish; a pregnancy test isn't a "Pass/Fail" scenario; it tells you if you're pregnant or not. Male urine on a pregnancy test should test negative.
As they are strong drugs it can affect the pregnancy test.
Some women do not get a positive pregnancy test will late in their pregnancy , if even. A blood pregnancy test is the best way to go.
I will do the urine pregnancy test. If it is negative, reassurance and observation is the therapy.
Yes, it is possible to have a positive result on a urine pregnancy test and a negative result on a blood pregnancy test. This could be due to differences in the sensitivity of the tests or the timing of the tests relative to the hormone levels in the body. It is recommended to confirm with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
when in doubt, assume you are pregnant. then take a urine pregnancy test, and if that is negative. then you can also check by getting a blood pregnancy test.
No as long as there is a baby on board you will continue to spill hormones in your urine.
If a man pees on a home pregnancy test, it is unlikely to yield an accurate result. Pregnancy tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone present in pregnant women's urine, not in men's urine. The test may show a false negative or positive due to the differences in hormones between men and pregnant women.
Hello there. Yes you may very well be pregnant. A pregnancy test will only turn positive once HCG has been found in your urine. BUT there needs to be ENOUGH HCG in your urine to make a positive test result. Depending on the pregnancy test, they usually look for 5MIU - 50MIU. If you had 49MIU of HCG in your urine and did a test that looks for 50MIU it would be negative. The same thing applies to the Labatory urine pregnancy test. When they did the test you probably didn't have enough HCG in your urine to give you a positive. You need to have a blood test. Urine tests are NOT reliable and give negative results when women are indeed pregnant. See your doctor for a Quantitative Beta HCG pregnancy test. Good luck.
Urine pregnancy tests normally detect >25. A result below that could indicate very early pregnancy, or the tail end of a miscarriage.
I had the same thing happen to me. I took several home pregnancy tests that came back positive. I went to the doctor they did a blood test and it came back as negative. They sent me to hospital to do a 48 hour hormone test and determined I was miscarraging the baby. You should ask your doctor if this is hapening to you. Hope this helps.
