Well, I went to the doctor when I was 12 because I had extreme abdominal pain instead of periods for a year. (Started period when i was 9) and my doctor said that my eggs got stuck in the tube on the way down and others kept piling on so none would pass. He gave me medication to take every 6 hours. It worked but now its doing it again 3 years later. :(
egg cells and ovaries
The egg cell being "stuck" in the ovaries could be due to various reasons such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), scar tissue from previous infections or surgeries, or certain medical conditions that affect ovulation. It is important to consult a healthcare provider for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.
Egg cells are stored in the ovaries of the female reproductive system.
